First Major Trip alone= Independence

When we first arrived in Athens we were met at the airport by someone from our tour company. She told us how to get to Syntagma Square and our hotel, the Astor. But once we got on the metro we were on our own!

Our airport group decided to explore on our own the first day in Athens. Alexis, Berry, Liz, Dan, Maurice, Robyn, Kristine, Kimi, and I experienced protestors in front of the parliment building, slick marble gutters, and our first glimpse of the Arcopolis!
